KGANYA BOTSWANA CODE OF CONDUCT Kganya Botswana’s Code of Conduct aims to set a professional standard of ZCC member interaction in Botswana’s financial services industry. This Code provides the values and processes that will guide Kganya Botswana’s representatives to interact with ZCC Botswana members in a professional manner. Kganya Botswana and its representatives will at all times interact with ZCC Botswana members in the following manner: • Honestly • Fairly • With care • In the interests of ZCC Botswana members • With integrity • With due skill • With diligence • And to enhance the integrity of the financial services industry. Kganya Botswana and its representatives commits to the following in respect of rendering financial services: • At all times employ the resources, procedures and appropriate technological systems that can reasonably be expected to render continuous quality service to ZCC Botswana members; • Comply with all applicable statutory or common law requirements applicable to the conduct of business; • Act with circumspection and treat clients fairly in a situation of conflicting interests; • To make adequate disclosures of relevant material information, including disclosures of actual or potential own interests, in relation to dealings with clients; • To employ adequate and appropriate record-keeping; • To avoid fraudulent and misleading advertising, canvassing and marketing; • To attend to proper safe-keeping, separation and protection of funds and transaction documentation of clients; • To maintain professional indemnity and fidelity insurance cover; Kganya Botswana’s Code of Conduct should be read in conjunction with The Kganya Group’s: • Mission and Values; • Treating Customers Fairly Policy; • Conflicts of Interest Management Policy; and • Gifts and Ethics Policy.
