2.ll Dependants 2.8.1 Subject to the other provisions of this pi:lragraph, ,1 Dependant in relation to a Policyholder in Good Stcrndlni:;; shall be - a natural child; or 0 a legally adopted child; or a child adopted by custom provided that both natural parents are deceased, who has been recorded by a Church in the Premium Payment Book of the Policyholder provided that new born and adopted children of a Policyholder must be recorded within a period of 6 (six) months after the date of birth or adoption as the case may be. 2.8.2 A Dependant shall specifically exclude a child - who survives a Policyholder and does not qualify as a Paid-up Dependant in terms hereof; • of a Dependant of a Policyholder; who is 25 (twenty-five) years or older. 2.8.3 Subject to the other provisions of this paragraph, a child who is 25 (twenty-five) years or older and permanently dependent on the Policyholder because of mental and/or physical disability ("the Dis ability") shall not be a Dependant unless: • the Disability existed or occurred whilst the child otherwise qualified as a Dependant; • the Policyholder paid at least one Premium and Contribution prior to the date the child would otherwise cease to qualify as 20
