2.19 Delegation and Cession The Policyho[der or [1cneficiMy rnay not cede ;:my rights or delegate any obligations set out in this Policy. 2.20 Cooling Off 2.20.1 A cooling off pel'iod is arforded to the following persons who no longer wish to continue as a Policyholder: 2.20.2 2.20.3 2.20.4 • New Policyholders who have purchased a Premium Payment Book and paid their first Premium and Contribution; and 0 Existing Policyholders where such persons have paid a Premium and Contribution after l<ganya Botswana and BLIL have varied any terms and conditions contained in the Policy. The cooling off period lasts for 31 (thirty-one) days from the date: • of becoming a new Policyholder; or Q an e1<isting Policyholder became aware of the varlatfon of the terms and conditions of the Policy. During this cooling off period, Policyholders may cancel their Policies, in writing, and be entitled to a full refund of the cost of the Premium Payment Book (new Policyholders only) and a pro-rata refund of any Premiums paid during this time. The pro-rata refund will be calculated based on the number of days the Policyholder enjoyed any cover afforded during the cooling off period prior to cancellation. Any applicable refunds will only be available to Policyholders where no Benefit has yet been claimed or where no insurableevent has occurred.
