Dear Church member, Pukwana ya Kganya was developed for members of Zion Christian Church in Botswana. Pukwana ya Kganya makes certain Benefits and Services available to members that become Policyholders. Pukwana ya Kganya also enables members of the Church that are Policyholders to make a monthly contribution towards their Church’s expenses. I exhort Kganya Botswana to continue to execute its mandate for the benefit of the congregation. I urge you, as the ZCC Botswana member, to freely make use of the real Benefits and Services that Pukwana ya Kganya has to offer you. These are Benefits and Services that make a positive difference in the life of each member and as the Leader of the Church I remain comfortable that Zion Christian Church is doing everything in its power to ensure that members of the Church do not suffer unnecessarily. Under my direction Kganya Botswana will continue to develop products and projects that are of benefit to members of the Church. These products must at all times reflect the unity that we feel as members of the Church. They must always be dignified and must serve a real purpose in ensuring the prosperity of our members. Please remember that Pukwana ya Kganya has been especially created for members of Zion Christian Church in Botswana. If you are suspended by or leave your church for any reason, you will not be able to pay your premium and contribution and you will not be covered. Kganya Botswana cannot intervene in this matter in any way. As members of Zion Christian Church, it is common knowledge that we espouse the principle of peace amongst men and women of all nations and creeds. It is worth remembering that a member in good standing with the rest of the congregation does not: • Smoke; or • Drink any alcoholic beverage, including tribal beer or concoctions. A member of Zion Christian Church should: • Attend church at least once a month even when away from his or her home; • Not attend or send his/her children to any initiation school; and • Ensure that his/her family continues to adhere to all the above and all other Church regulations.
