COMMUNITY PROJECTS

Kganya Botswana helps to uplift the ZCC community in Botswana by using some of your monthly Pukwana ya Kganya Contribution for the following:

  • Mahlaku Lekganyane Clinic - This project was started following a private conversation and subsequent meetings held between His Grace Bishop Dr B.E. Lekganyane and the former Vice President of the Republic of Botswana, the honourable Dr Ponatshego Kedikilwe. He told the Bishop about his concern regarding the well-being of the Batswana nation, and lack of the health facilities. The meeting, held on 16 August 2014 and led by His Grace Bishop Dr B.E. Lekganyane concluded that that the clinic would be built and donated by the Zion Christian Church. The Clinic was donated to Botswana Health Department a Mopane Village, Gaborone. The Clinic was officially handed over to the Ministry of Health and Wellness on 28 November 2016.
  • Ambulance - Kganya Botswana donated a Toyota Land Cruiser fully equipped to be used as an ambulance by the Botswana Mmopane Clinic in May 2022.
  • Funeral Trailers - Kganya Botswana also provides Kganya Botswana members with 13 funeral trailers equipped with the following: Main Roof Tent, Side Tents for walls, Tent Main King poles, Support poles & ropes, 3 Aluminium size 14 pots & 50 plastic chairs. The trailers are free of charge and on request. The trailers are placed at different Centers for ease of access, they are at Gaborone, Lobatse, Tsabong, Palapye, Serowe, Sefare, Bobonong, Francistown, Letlhakane and Maun.
